I was given my first camera when I was 12 years old, a 1963 Zeiss Ikon camera, by 14 I was photographing local horse riding events and was part of my high school newspaper team as photographer.
After school I did night classes in Cape Town, studying photography and dark room (before digital photography was a thing), under the tutelage of Sheean Sealy, an industry leader in fashion photography.

Graduating with distinction, I went on to do family and portrait photography in Cape Town. Moving into travel photography as the years went on.
The big shift came when I returned to my home turf, at 27, Gheberha (Port Elizabeth), to build my career in design and photography. Doing logo’s, websites, event photography, outdoor sports and weddings, I then joined the team at a photography and design studio based in Humansdorp, and worked as studio manager and photographer.
Then the greatest love story came along and I took a break from work to raise my babies and established a successful online business, building up my following to almost 2000 and having a well respected brand in the blogging and online creative space.
Working with local bloggers to create and supply design and photography, my love for digital creation was cemented and I have been working with small businesses to establish their online presence since 2017.
